AIC Honorary Board Member Amb. Thomas Pickering argues in favor of nuclear deal in major debate

AIC Honorary Board Member Ambassador Thomas Pickering participated in a recent debate regarding the favorability of a nuclear deal with Iran for the United States. Phillip Gordon, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, joined Ambassador Pickering in arguing for the deal while Micheal Doran, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, and Mark Dubowitz, executive director of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, argued against it.

"To me, there is no alternative. This agreement is a good one... I am totally satisfied that the deal we have now on the table is a deal which we can certainly live with and we will have every opportunity to ensure that Iran does not get a nuclear weapon," Pickering argued.
